For those of you who grew up in North London, you might remember a little place affectionately known as the fairy shop in Hampstead. We were known as the fairies of Hampstead as we used to have our very own Mystical Fairies shop in Flask Walk – a destination for all things fairy, princess and girly which led to another shop in Bluewater, Kent. However, after over a decade of memories and mayhem we decided to focus solely on our parties and events, although we are nostalgic every time we stroll down Flask Walk and wonder should we?
The fairy shop as it was known was open for over a decade and so many of our parents remember it so fondly both from our fairy dust at the counter to the perfect party room downstairs. We still host our parties and we still send our favourite fairy dust!
The Fairy Queen has always loved organising parties from the smallest sleepover to the most elaborate themed 50th! Her attention to detail is legendary and her love of creating the perfect party and elaborate event for any occasion, or even, just because, is a key aspect of Mystical Fairies Parties and Events.
Many children dream of becoming a fairy, princess, superhero or rockstar and at Mystical Fairies we nurture these dreams and develop their imaginations with creative play. We make their dreams come true!
We have grown our team to include our Pesky Pirates side as not all children want fairies and princesses. We have also grown up with our children who have gone from those fairies, princesses, pirates and superheroes to more sophisticated themes and that is reflected in our tween and teen side of the fairies.
Our business continues to grow through word of mouth and personal recommendation, which we consider to be the best kind of publicity!
We can organise everything you need from corporate and grown-up events in our Event Fairies side to children’s parties, christenings, sweet sixteens and so much more.
We support a number of children’s charities including GOSH, UCH, Camp Simcha, Ambitious about Autism, Starlight Foundation, Spread a Smile, Make a Wish, Echo and honestly as many as we can. If you know of a children’s hospital or hospice and want us to come onto the wards, please just ask.
We are very supportive of GOSH as they were amazing with one of the FairyQueen’s own fairies who is now grown up, and we are so very grateful for everything they did that it is a pleasure and an honour to give back. For us, it just would not be Christmas without their Snow Ball, and even in Covid times they made it virtual so we could still spread some fairy dust, wishes and magic which we love to do.
We like to give back to our community, and are always happy to support any charity, hospital or hospice and with children’s ones, we never charge.
I lost count of the number of parents who said how fantastic she was.
